I am going to be totally honest here and it is painful. As sad as it is, the hippies had more impact. Their "question everything" attitude opened the floodgates for moral decline in our country and the world. As they questioned all of our morals, many of which are lines that shouldn't have been crossed, they ended up messed up people with addictions and emotional wounds. And now America is known around the world and particularly to Eastern and Middle-Eastern peoples as the global source of debauchery.
On the other hand, the changes that people today are fighting for are definately more positive. They use intellectual arguments and technology to make people think. Unfortunately, the thinking process is slow for many people. I think in time, we'll be able to say more about the impact of the more recent group. But they haven't gotten it done yet.
hippies changed the way we think, tech savvy guys only make money for themselves and don't do anything to help or better the world. its great that this one guy found some money using the net but no one will remember their names in a few years. here you are 40 years later still complaining about hippies… I think that answers your question. they make an impact, you or he is just trying to make money.. what a loser.

I don't know, but it is simply a way to create backlinks to your landing page and takes quite a bit of work to set up. You are probably better off using Linkvana or one of the backlink services.
